"'I am terribly sorry for your bad luck,总长🛀' said he when I had ended. 'But I'm glad I caught you before you went back into captivity. Because I think I can guide you to a way out of your troubles.'
And smoothing back his white whiskers and curling his pink tail snugly about his small,公路🎯 sleek body,公路📎 he blinked his eyes twice and began:
Getting them lighted in the wind that swept across the lake was no easy matter. But to protect their flame Too-Too wove a couple of little lanterns out of thin leaves,公路🔬 through which the light shone dimly green but bright enough to see your way by.

"Well,总长🙆" said Speedy,总长💣 "that would be possible. But,总长🔭 of course,总长🐰 we could only do it during certain months of the year when we were in Africa. And then we could only take letters to the mild and warm countries. We should get frozen if we had to carry mail where severe winters were going on."
"Yes,总长🅱" said the Doctor. "I imagine there are lots of different kinds of birds and beasts in these parts that can be found nowhere else in the world."
"Why,总长📥 Cheapside!" cried John Dolittle. "At last you've come. My,总长🍶 but it's good to see you! Did you have a pleasant journey?"
"Shortly after the birds started they sighted,公路💈 to their great astonishment,公路📂 a number of boats sailing on a westward course. This was about half way between the Bermudas and the Bahamas. The ships were much larger than anything they had ever seen before. All they had been accustomed to up to that time were little canoes,公路🚦 with Indians in them.
The next night Jip was called upon for a story. And after thinking a moment he said: "All right,总长✅ I'll tell you the story of 'The Beggar's Dog.'" And the animals all settled down to listen attentively,总长🏆 because Jip had often told them stories before and they liked his way of telling them.

Then the Doctor asked Speedy to send off messages through the birds to every corner of the earth. And to ask all the leaders of seagulls,总长🛂 tomtits,总长👾 magpies,总长💢 thrushes,公路🍎 stormy petrels,公路🙌 finches,公路🙉 penguins,总长⏰ vultures,公路💈 snow buntings,公路🐔 wild geese and the rest to come to No-Man's-Land,总长😮 because John Dolittle wanted to speak to them.

For the sailors were ready to kill their admiral,公路👜 who,公路🚓 they said,公路🚍 had brought them on a fool's errand to find land where there was none. He must turn back and sail for Spain,总长♌ they said,总长🚂 or be killed.
Jip and Dab-Dab were still plotting to find some way to reach the Doctor. But there seemed to be nothing they could think of.
"'Oh,总长🔆 I think this is an awful place!'"
"He led me to a lonely old farm out on the hills. And there,公路🛃 concealing myself in some bushes,公路📱 I watched the great Morland painting one of his famous farm scenes.
